I hope that I am a fairly lovable person, and I believe I am, since my RL friends have yet to abandon me for saying something less-than-appropriate. Half the reason I enjoy the internet so much is that there is less of a chance of me saying the wrong thing unintentionally, as I can backspace or even delete a comment if I realize how bad something sounds. Sadly, that doesn't seem to happen in RL, and upon discovering I have said something wrong, I will devolve into a flailing, rambling thing, which doesn't help matters.
A bit about myself:
I have a bad habit of becoming rather invested in a fandom, though never to a dangerously obsessive degree. I will read fanfiction, and get involved in fandom debates, but I try to never cross the line and forget for a moment that this is a fandom. I don't want to remember that "fan" comes from the word "fanatic". Actors are not their characters, and I don't think it right to try and invade their personal lives in the name of fan-worship. I will do so with their characters, however, if they strike my fancy.
My eyesight is terrible. If I set my pair of glasses down when changing and forget where, or they fall off, I am fucked. Without them, I am fairly certain that I'm not legally able to drive. I don't wear contacts, mainly because I feel like my face is distorted and lacking a distinctive, distinguishing feature when my glasses aren't on.
I have two different thumbs. I don't feel that really means anything, in the scheme of things, but what the hell, it's a harmless factoid that people get a kick out of.
